Legoland

To start the new year off we did a lot of partying while we still had Dad around. Brayden's school had discount tickets to Legoland so we decided to take Liam. There was so much going on and so many things to see that he just didn't know where to look! He was mesmerized by everything he saw.

This was Liam's favorite area, especially the smaller legos. He loved digging for them, tasting each one, and banging them together. He also practiced standing all by himself!

On our way out Brayden snapped this picture. Even though Christmas was over we got to enjoy the lights one more time :)

ONE

Liam's first birthday turned out to be an interesting one. He was happy, sad, confused, and every other emotion possible. I can't believe my baby is one! Time flies. He is such a blessing and Brayden and I love having him as part of our little family.
Liam loves balls!

First he had to examine all of his balloons. Then we moved on to cake and that is really where the fun began...well almost.

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to! It was like we were torturing the poor kid.

To get him to calm down we took a little break to wipe his hands.

The fun really started when we handed him a spoon. I call him my little diva baby because he hates to get dirty or touch sticky food (he gets it from his dad). Once he had his spoon he was ready to go!

my BIG boy

It has been a great year! He has learned so much! I love you Liam!

Grandparents visit

Grandma and Grandad Harris came to visit and Liam loved having friends here.

This kid doesn't care how cold it is...he still wants to be outside!

 Kiss attack!

A cold day in Kansas City makes for a good day to wear preppy sweaters to church

Liam's toy broke so they worked together as a team to fix it.

Liam loves his grandparents

Some of Liam's favorite things
Doing things he's not supposed to (got caught playing with the tree), reading, grabbing cameras, phones, etc, playing with balls, walking, running, playing basketball, and climbing stairs (in more ways than one)

Loved having Grandma and Grandad with us! We love you!

Christmas Morning

This was Liam's first Christmas and we were so excited. He had no idea what was going on, but we had a good time!

He was excited when he saw his elf

Grandma got him his cool walking toy

Saying thank you to Grandma and showing her his cool new car

 Relaxing with Grandad

Liam loves to read books (that's definitely what his teacher mom likes to see!)

 "Look what I got mom!"

My parents gave Brayden his first official major league baseball. It was also signed by Kansas City Royals pitcher, Jeremy Guthrie. His father-in-law works with my Dad in the stake young mens in utah. He also tried to score us some tickets to the Royals vs Mariners game, but it was too late, the Mariners weren't coming back to KC this season. This coming season he said he'd try again.

I put this magazine together for Brayden. Thanks to everyone that contributed. You really made him feel special. He loved it!

Merry Christmas! We loved getting to be together as a family!
