Great Grandparents

Not all kids are lucky enough to meet their great grandparents, but this kid is. Grandma and Grandad Harris came from Amarillo to meet this little man and he LOVED it! Our first adventure with Great Grandma and Grandad (heavy on the great!) was going to the zoo.  It was the little guy's first time there and that was fun to see his reactions. Brayden was showing him the monkeys, which were right in front of us and Liam was more interested in looking at his own feet and the grass.

Later that week we all went on a train ride. It was a first time for all of us so we didn't know what to expect, but here we go.

 During the ride they would play music and have people come up and dance. Jayden was star of the show with all of his sweet moves. Go Jayden!

Now this happy, smiling boy did not start the ride this way. In the beginning it was really loud for him and he was crying. As the crowd got louder (from cheering) our little guy got louder! When the train would choo-choo, he would get scared and cry some more. After about ten minutes of Brayden and I really regretting this train ride, Liam started to get used to it all, and eventually he was smiling and dancing.

We loved having the Great Grandparents visit! They have their name for a reason~they really are GREAT! We love you!
